Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) manages several economic immigration programs that support the development of a strong Canadian economy and ensure that the benefits of immigration are shared across all regions. Economic immigration represents the largest share (almost 60%) of annual permanent residence admissions and the volume is growing, as the overall admission levels grow.
Express Entry is not an immigration program, but rather a delivery points-based-system (called Comprehensive Ranking System or CRS) where you are able to apply and be invited for different programs. Candidates are being evaluated and the highest-ranking ones selected to apply for Permanent Residence, based on the likelihood of their economic success in Canada. Aside from being the most popular economic pathway, it is also the fastest way to obtain Permanent Residence in Canada.
How does it work?
This is a 2-stage electronic process, for candidates interested to apply for Permanent Residence.
Stage 1: Candidates are required to create their online profile. If the profile is strong (qualified and competitive), the candidate is selected to continue with the Permanent Residence application.
Stage 2: Receive an invitation to Apply for Permanent Residence (also called the ITA). The ITA will disclose which category the client has been invited to apply to.
How can we help
Eligibility criteria for Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades, the Canadian Experience Class Programs, as well as Provincial Nominee ones, include language ability, education, work experience, arranged employment, provincial nomination, etc.
Aside from program specific requirements, the candidates have to be admissible to Canada.
